My Employment History

I feel that beginning with my employment history is an appropriate starting point. My first job was a dish washer at the Oakville Golf Club. It taught me a number of different lessons. The first being the importance of timely work and a thick skin. There was constant yelling and the chief had no problems with publicly embarrassing his employees. That job only lasted the summer. My next job was much more suited to my personality. I worked for an ice sculpting company called iceculture inc.(http://www.iceculture.com/) My job included delivery, set up and miner sculpting on site. This job allowed me to travel all over North America, go to some of the most exclusive parties and taught me invaluable skills. These skills included working under extreme time constraints, working in unfamiliar environments, and the importance of keeping calm under pressure. Currently i have started a lawn maintenance company. I have only been in business for just over a month. I am experiencing growing pains. A lack of funding and faulty equipment. These things were expected but not as early they have arrived. The company luckily has very little day to day expenses. My gas money is the largest expense, although i am finding i am spending significantly more money on gas from driving from home to school and back.
